About TVM
The Vie Mentorship is a structured, cycle-based mentorship programme for aspiring and early-stage entertainment lawyers across Nigeria and Africa.
We pair penultimate and final-year law students , and young lawyers within their first two years post-call , with experienced practitioners in Music and Film law, equipping them with the knowledge and networks to build meaningful careers at the intersection of creativity and law.

Each cycle is a deep-dive into the practical realities of entertainment law , from drafting contracts to understanding rights clearance and industry deal structures.
Explore recording contracts, publishing agreements, royalties, sync licensing, neighbouring rights, and the evolving landscape of streaming and digital distribution.
Core FocusNavigate co-production deals, chain of title, clearances, talent agreements, distribution contracts, and financing structures in the African film industry.
Core FocusContract drafting, negotiation techniques, IP registration, dispute resolution, and career navigation , built for the realities of practice in Nigeria and across Africa.

Up to 50 mentees are selected per cycle. Applications are reviewed holistically , your enthusiasm and goals matter as much as your background.
